90 Drones, 493 Kg Heroin, 37 Weapons Recovered, 29 Smugglers Arrested, 3 Pakistani Infiltrators Neutralized In Punjab By BSF In One Year

As the Border Security Force celebrates its 59th Raising Day, Inspector General Dr. Atul Fulzele held a media interaction today, shedding light on the remarkable operational achievements of BSF Punjab over the past year. Here are some of the highlights:

1. 𝐒𝐞𝐢𝐳𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝟒𝟗𝟑.𝟏𝟏𝟕 𝐊𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐢𝐧: In the past year, BSF successfully seized a substantial amount of 491.261 kilograms of heroin.

2. 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝟗𝟎 𝐏𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐢 𝐃𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬: Notably, 90 Pakistani drones intended for drug and arms smuggling were intercepted and recovered.

3. 𝐀𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝟐𝟗 𝐒𝐦𝐮𝐠𝐠𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐬: Including the apprehension of two Pakistani smugglers, a total of 29 smugglers were arrested.

4. 𝐍𝐞𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝟑 𝐏𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐢 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬: Three Pakistani infiltrators who were illeagely trying to enter Indian territory were neutralized.

5. 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐬: Additionally, 37 weapons and 601 rounds were successfully recovered.
